I've been quite disconnected from the online community of late. The good ole' laptop has unfortunately met it's end. The very helpful young gentleman on the other end of the IBM tech support very kindly pointed out that it was most likely the graphics card which had overshot, and died on it's way to heaven. And, since the warranty had run out last October, he very kindly noted it would cost $1000 to fix.. Because the graphics card was attached to the motherboard. Ouch. He also very kindly gave me the sales number, and confirmed it was better to spend an extra $500 to get a new machine, than spend $1000 fixing the old one. So, R.I.P T40p. Truly.
Seeing as it was now obsolete, Nhan, Cathy and I ripped it apart. Who would have thought a laptop would have so many different screws, and many of them actually hidden away. Fascinating stuff.The machine is now spare parts galore for Nhan.
As a consequence, my online presence has drastically reduced, and, coupled with restricted internet access at work, I am now quite unreliable with personal emails and the like, unless you contact me at work.
So, this little blog will not be getting as much attention and luvin from me for a while, and neither will the flickr site. Adios for now! I'll leave you with a classic Winnii quote as we all sat outside rambling on Lee's decking last week, 'I feel so sorry and so upset when I see shoes being left outside in the cold..'

Oooh ya gone for a bit..Man..I'll have to simply just leave notes until you come back. Once a day..Okies, that is a tad much..Once a week??..Hmmm might get rather boring if I do that. I'll see what happens. You may end up with a tonne of notes to read on your return..lol
