I got the fright of my life yesterday, when I woke up to see Raffie hobbling about on 3 legs. He couldn’t lift his hind legs to jump into the house, and then we noticed he was also vomiting. Oh my God. I finally know what it’s like to be a parent after this episode...
Took him to the vet, and he turns out he has a case of food poisoning, but his leg is a completely separate incident. So not only has he eaten something bad, but he’s hurt his leg muscle doing something else in the yard overnight as well. The poor thing.
He stayed in his petbed most of yesterday, but thankfully he looks better this morning. He jumped up to say hello when I saw him this morning, so hopefully he should be ok.
