End of the week

Friday afternoon in the office, and it is quiet today. Terry's gone home to get some much rested sleep. He's spared me from working ridiculous hours with him this week. He's been taking care of the imports this week, and he was working til 2am last night, out on site. We find out what the product is next week. I'm sticking to the guess I made a month ago. All will be revealed next week.

Next week will be a busy one for me though, while Terry can relax.

It kind of feels like it's been a bit of a busy week. With the guys up here earlier this week, it's been a short week. I'm going out for dinner with the girls here tomorrow night down at the Rocks. Nance wants to try this Japanese restaurant, named after my favourite anime heroine, Shiki. I think we're going shopping tomorrow as well, actually. Hmm.. I just remembered.

I played with Jackie's guitar on the weekend, and man, she's got a good guitar. Making me think of buying one, so we can jam together. Listening to her play classical music makes me miss playing. And she has good classical sheet music. The first time I heard her play in the lab made me feel really nostalgic. I don't remember a lot of my music; I don't even remember where I've kept them - it must be at my Dad's place. When I heard her play that first time, it made me sad that I had forgotten most of my music. Maybe I should take it up again. At least have a guitar at home. The very least, anyway.

Still thinking of taking up an instrument. I want to keep myself busy here in Sydney. I would love to take up the cello, but the thought of lugging that heavy bulky instrument around kind of detracts me from taking it up. The violin might be too loud in my apartment. Still just thinking of it.

I miss playing music. Really should get a guitar.

I took a picture of this dodgy Italian restaurant Jackie and I went to Wednesday night. I liked the artwork, but now looking at it, I like the picture as well. Some place down Oxford St when we were both hungry, and wanted something quick, but it didn't turn out to be a quick meal at all.
