Accidents..

Cathy was on her way home yesterday on a packed peak hour train when the train jolted heading towards Tottenham station. Bodies flying everywhere, metal pieces of the train flew through the air. The train had collided with a car that was on the railway tracks for some reason. The driver of the car died. How tragic. I'm not too sure why the train driver(s) didn't spot the car in the first place, as he had a straight line of vision on that railway track for about 3km. Even more bizarre was why the driver of the car didn't leave as the train approached, nor did his passengers..

She was stuck in the train for over 90 minutes while police and ambulance arrived at the scene. No one was allowed out - the passengers were locked in, no air conditioning in the 33 degree heat. Ouch. Then, once they were able to get off the train, they were told there were buses on the way to replace the trains, but no one knew where the buses were. So people went looking for the buses and finally found one. The driver stopped, only to inform them it wasn't the replacement bus, refused to let people on, and drove off. Cathy wasn't very impressed with Connex's handling of the situation.

At least she wasn't hurt. Perhaps it was a sign - she's supposed to stick around for her birthday at the end of this month. Turning all of 20. Jesus.

In other news, anyone interested in going to Earthcore this year? :D

Auckland pix are up as well!
