I've just read through my blog, and it's brought back so many memories! I had been seriously thinking of ending this blog, as I've been neglecting it of late, but I definitely couldn't do that. So many memories, so many funny moments.
My post of turning 25 wished the year ahead to be quiet, and less chaotic than the preceding twelve months of jetsetting, and perpetual late nights out. I got my wish. The past twelve months have been quite constant; no dramas, that's the surprising thing. The most melo-dramatic event would probably be myself quitting Transit, and the ugly scenes that followed when I announced my leave, with the MD claiming that my and Sam's leaving would completely ruin the company, and it would be completely our fault.
But, what doesn't break you only makes you stronger. I went to Auckland, and came back to find the ideal job: working for Craig specialising in creating warehousing solutions. I still love my job - my team are fantastic, and I have absolutely no intention for working for anyone other than Craig for a while yet.
I am much more assertive these days. I'm not the pushover I used to be. My team have given me so much confidence, and I have a pretty firm direction with where I want to go with my career and prospects, aims and goals.
Bought Mum a car, and have made a budget I can stick to, in order to reach my goals. I have my health, wealth, and my friends around me. What more could I ask for? I love the life I have, and I am now a year older. I can actually say I'm more wiser.
