The ramblings of this blogger

Christmas and New Year came and went in spectacular fashion, a whirlwind of activity, and just like that, it's passed for another year. It feels like last week since I last blogged, yet it feels like months since I've seen the girls, although I saw them last night, and last week. I feel like I don't see them enough, and when I do, it feels strange at the moment. So many news, so many events, so many issues, I feel they're all strangers to me right now.

Andy arrives in Melbourne tonight, and Jen, Winnii and I are taking him out. It will be very good to see him again; it must be two years since I've seen him. Has it been that long?

I fly up to Sydney for a day trip next week, and perhaps another trip or two later on this month. I'm dreading it, as usual. I hate interstate day trips. It's not the best feeling in the world to wake up 4:30am - I don't know how people can do that every day.

It's funny to think we're in January now, and it scares me a little as well. January means Lee gives birth next month. Gosh, that's exciting. Another little person to keep little (or big) moomoo company. He's so big now! And he talks so much! He makes me smile. He told me before Christmas that he went to see the Wiggles concert, and he got to hold Geoff's hand, and another Wiggle's hand (I forget the Wiggle's name), and he showed me how he danced at the concert. So adorably cute.

I bumped into Kenna last week - it was so good to see her. I haven't seen her in ages, and it was just so good to touch base with her! Jen, Winnii, Kenna and I might also be going to Launceston next month, if the tickets are cheap. Well, Winnii won't be, because she's off to Hong Kong and New York in three weeks. I found out last night. Holy cow. Spontaneous decision, spontaneous trip, spontaneous fun.

OK, back to work now.
