I saw the girls last night to celebrate Pooh Bear's unemployment. She's officially unemployed! After working close to 18 hour days, she's now unemployed! So we went out to celebrate. The theme was dress to impress, and boy, the girls, as always, looked HOT. Lee had on these killer gladiator heels, and Jen's shoes too! Damn, they were noice! I'm not really into shoes much, but I swear, Jen's shoes were a turn on. Seriously. They were so hot, gosh.. just the thought of them... Ok Ok, I gotta stop, because I'm beginning to sound like Nikki...
We went to a fantastic little restaurant in Moonee Ponds - Winnii, what was it called? It was amazing. It was just good to see the girls again. It's been wayyy too long since I had seen them, and so I got the shock of my life to hear Lee now has four kids permanently. Like Pooh said, instant family; just add water. Oh my God. I was exhausted just listening to her stories. It bemused me especially her stories of Alex, who is now 14!! Oh my God. Fourteen!!! Hehehe. She was retelling stories how Alex reckons Lee was never cool in school, and him telling her he was going to have his first kiss by the end of the year, and Lee freaking out about it.
I actually had to remind her what SHE was like in high school. Oh my God!! She had had like.. 4-5 boyfriends by 14 or so?? And here she was freaking out about Alex having his first kiss at 14.. Funny funny. Especially funny because now she can understand what her folks went through with her.. Haha! Charlotte is already picking out her own outfits! Before two years old! Gosh.. Like mother, like daughter. Hehehe. So cute.
It's also odd to see Jenny and Winnii switching places too. Don't get me wrong, Jen's always been a hard worker, but my god.. She's become the new Winnii, with the hours she works.. And Winnii is now.. a bum. Haha! She cooks and cleans. Domesticated. Damn that boy is lucky :D
It's very strange to have such a small group now as well. Niks is busy and stressed, Trinh's off doing her own thing, and so is KK.. Kad's in Dubai, Phuong's in Canberra.. I finally had a talk with Phuong on Friday too, the first time in AGES. Good to hear her voice.
Must try and get a hold of Niks.

I have another Phuong quote from Friday night.. "We need to get together and plan our Japan trip when I next come down to Melbourne... I'll be down in Melbourne in the next few weeks but I can't see you then 'coz I'm too busy, so I'll see you around Christmas instead!"
Huh? Did you even realise what you said, Phuong? It made me laugh, but I don't think you understood why I laughed!
