Raffie's doing much better now. Poor thing is still quite sick, but definitely on the mend. He has his appetite back, and he can walk around, and even went looking for food yesterday afternoon. He was well enough to sit and watch me eat, wanting my food. Pity I couldn't give him any of my dinner, apart from vegetables. He's well enough to stay home with us, but he has a vet check up on Saturday.
We've been taking turns doing the shifts to keep an eye out on him. Cathy and Sang kept a close watch on him Monday night; Mum & I watched over him last night. He still has a bit of fluid in his lungs, and his breathing is still quite quick, but he's definitely on the mend.
The vet said yesterday that it's a good sign he's got his appetite back, and keep up his fluids so he can pee out all of the fluid in his lungs, and his medication could be halved now too. He was shivering last night, so we wrapped a blanket around him to keep him warm, but at least he's not shaking like he was the other night. The medication he was on was really strong for a dog his size, so thankfully it's been halved now.
Thank God he's getting better. I'm praying he fully recovers. Poor baby.
