I’m stuck in Sydney on ‘stand by’ mode. So far it’s been pointless for me to travel today. I’m quickly becoming a frequent flyer. It’s the third consecutive week I have travelled so far, and I’m due to go to Adelaide later this week, or early next week. I hate travelling.
I’ve been a hermit of late, mourning over Raffie. I was a bit of a wreck at work last week. I don’t think I’ve cried so much in.. years. Gosh, it’s so draining! Sigh. I miss him. Cathy and Sang have already bought another puppy, because the house wasn’t the same without Raffie around. It’s just been so empty. They brought home a little maltese x shih tzu last night. I think it’s going to be called Pepper. The puppy is cute.. But.. Not as cute as Raffie. Even Cathy admitted it would be near impossible to find a dog as cute and adorable as Raffie. He was just ultra cute. I went with them over the weekend to look for a puppy, and.. didn’t find any cute enough for me.
We were digging up old photos and videos of Raffie when was he was a puppy and he was ultra ultra cute. He looked like a teddy bear more than a puppy. Sigh. I miss him so much.
I want another maltese x jack Russell, but Cathy thinks it’s a bad idea to look for a puppy that looks like Raffie. I know what she means, but they are so cute. Their almond eyes, their floppy ears, their little nose.. I could go on. I’m not over that breed yet. I’m not over Raffie yet.
