Just a quick one here before I gotta go out and spend some time in the garden on this bright, sunny Sunday afternoon.
It was Kad's birthday last night, and we headed out to FOG, a nice restaurant for dinner. It was so good to see everyone again!
I was talking with Lee about Matty and him being in prep now (he's in prep!), and she said to me, 'Hey! You remember how you and Kad went to the WRONG house once when you came over to my place?!'
Hmm.. Ofcourse I remember. I even blogged about it, because it was just so.. Kad. Hahaha. You can find the entry here.
So anyway, it now turns out that Lee and the Matty/Charlotte look-a-like's Mum are friends now. Oh my God. Not only that, she remembers the incident! Oh my God, I almost died...
I asked Lee what the Mum said, and Lee replies, 'One night, there was a knock on the door, and the kids opened the door, and two strange girls walk into the house, look around, and then leave. After that incident, I told them NOT to open the door to strangers anymore!!'
Oh my God. Well, at least she taught her kids a good lesson huh?
I asked Lee what made her think it was the same house, and she replies, 'Well, the two of us were making idle chit chat while waiting for the class to end, so I asked her where she lived. She replied, 'On Capesthorn', so I said, 'I live on Capesthorn too! Where abouts?'. The woman said, 'A double storey house on the corner', and so I said, 'So do I!' Then when I realised her kids were halfies as well, because she's Phillipino, that's when it clicked.'
Ahhh.. What are the chances of that? So now Matty and the daughter are in the same class. Lee reckons they look nothing like Matty and Charlotte... I remember same same... but different..
