I was listening to some music while working when Same Script, Different Cast started playing. All of a sudden, memories came flooding back of Kookai, and early starts to Chadstone, and countless times in Winnii’s little Cruz. You know how certain songs trigger certain memories and events of past times? It made me smile thinking of those years. I miss her now just thinking about it. I really miss her, even though I saw her earlier this week. But then, I really didn’t have a chance to catch up catch up with her, apart from the plane trip home.
Let’s see if I can tee up something with her next week – fingers crossed I don’t need to be in Adelaide. Still no idea when I need to go. The BDM isn’t really talking to me because I think he’s upset I got pulled off the project to “fix” those numbers earlier this week, so he’s been giving me a bit of the cold shoulder. Strange. Anyway, it doesn’t bother me. I really didn’t want to travel this week, or even next week to be honest, so close to the wedding. I would prefer to stay in Melbourne, especially when Kad is around. Kad! Let’s tee up a time with Kad too! So, so far it’s working out ok. I figure that if I don’t bring it up, then I won’t have to travel. Fingers crossed.
I catch up with Jack tonight. I’ve missed him.
