I’ve lived at my place for two months without the internet. I never thought I could last this long, but it’s been good. Perhaps because I have access at work. I don’t really miss it.
I started (but haven’t completed) the exercise mentioned in my previous post. I can save $7,500 a year by just lowering my spend on things like the internet, clothes etc. If things got really tough and I strip out non essential items, I save over $11K a year. And that still doesn’t include lowering my grocery bill either.
Pretty good, I thought. At least I know I’m in quite a strong position if things got tough.
I’m off to Hamilton Island with the girls this weekend. The forecast in sunny Hamilton is for storms all weekend. Hehe. I don’t mind. I just want to see my girls. I miss them.
I have much more to say, but not enough time to say it. Another time, perhaps.
