It's Friday, and I'm so glad it's almost the weekend. I've been such a granny this week, sleeping straight after work. I was talking to Phuong earlier in the week and she's been going through the same thing I have: napping straight after work.
I think I just need some time off work to recharge the body.
Raffie's home now. Gosh, I've missed him. He returned Wednesday night, and he's back to his old tricks; albeit much better behaved. Such a cute dog. Really.
In other news, my bedroom suite arrives tomorrow. I cleaned my room last night to make room for the dresser and bedside tables. It will be nice to have STORAGE space, really.
I'm a bit brain dead today; submission for a tender is due Tuesday, and it's been another tight turnaround. But this time it's been quite seamless, and the C&R GM even wrote to our Director, complimenting Shona and I on our work. So, it's been good. Nice to get that recognition. Looks like we're being treated to dinner to recognise the 'hard work' we've been putting in. Let's see which restaurant we're going to - Maybe Vue De Monde? :p Not likely.
The SOPAC awards are also fast approaching. Another two weeks. I saw the presentation we're presenting, and I must admit, it looks damn impressive. I think we're in with a real chance of winning it; our presentation looks quite strong. I suppose the worse case scenario is we come third on the night. Hehehehe. It's hard to say though, because I don't know the operations we're up against, but it looks like we may be able to sit in on our competitors' presentation. That will be good; see who we're up against. Go Engineering Team!
This is a ramble today, really it is. I'm drained; I need more sleep.
