Now that the restructure is official, and I'm back working in John's team, I know my time in Sydney is up. I had a brief chat with John yesterday afternoon, and he stated, in no uncertain terms, that his view and way of thinking is NOT to have a member dedicated on one site three or five days a week. I've grown accustomed to being onsite, and with the team here. It feels like being a part of the Apple crew again.
I'm not sure how I'll be after next week, because I don't think I'll be back for a while now. I'm going to miss them. Just would have liked to be able to see the benefits. It's beginning to turn around, and it feels like I won't be there to see it.
The guys deserve it though. I'll also miss the freebies. How am I going to bribe people now?
