I'm very proud of myself. The lovely Luce's birthday is coming up, and I think I have done extremely well, as compared to last year. What happened last year? Silly Thuy thinks of the perfect present for Luce - Audrey Tatou dvds. Especially, Audrey Tatou's latest dvd at the time. So, feeling especially proud of herself for having come up with a birthday present BEFORE the recipient's birthday arrives, she goes to jb hi-fi to check out the dvds..
But doesn't remember what the latest dvd is called, other than it contains the word, 'long'. Hmm.. So silly Thuy is looking around in the newly released section as well as the foreign languages section (it's a French movie), but has no luck. After an hour, she gives up, goes home, and googles Audrey Tatou.
And finds the dvd she was looking for.

I actually don't remember what I ended getting Luce - other than dvds.. I saw the preview to The DaVinci Code film on the weekend though. Oh my. I didn't recognise her. She's gorgeous in the film! I definitely want to see that when it comes out, not only because I thought the book was great, but she's so typically a French beauty in it.
Anyway, back to Luce. I've got a cute little gift for her this time around, and I actually wouldn't be surprised if she gets the same present from someone else. I'm crossing my fingers that she doesn't, but its so cute! And has been advertised around.. I've seen it in shop windows and catalogues and stuff, so I'm praying no one else gets it for her as well.

brighten up my blog a little, so here's the first of a series of pictures of little moomoo (aka Matthew). This was taken late last year, but I don't have any recent pix of him on my work machine. That, and, he's touring Viet Nam at the moment! Lucky fellow. I miss him. He comes back this weekend!
