The Blu-Ray entry

I finally had the chance to sit down and check out the quality of Blu-Ray on Cathy's PS3 this past week on my tv. I've had the tv for over three months, with Spiderman 3 just sitting there, begging to be watched. I had seen Casino Royale on Blu-Ray back in December, when I first got the TV, and I was hugely impressed with it. But then, I was hugely impressed with HD in general back then too. Not a great comparison to be had.

So I sat down, and made the time to watch Spiderman 3. Not my favourite movie, but my choices were quite limited: it was either Casino Royale, Spiderman 3, or Telladega Nights. I've seen Casino Royale so many times now, I didn't want to watch it again, and I refuse to watch Telladega Nights again. I saw it once, and never again. Absolute waste of time.

Blu-Ray quality is pretty good, I've got to admit. The quality is noticeably better than a normal DVD, even upscaled on the PS3. I was again impressed. I think I'll start buying Blu-Ray discs from now on.
