I’ve spent my entire day customising this new layout, and adding stuff to this blog. I’m still unsure whether I’ll keep this template, but it will do for now.
After a few months of being delusionally busy, busy, busy, culminating in staying back at the office til about 9:30pm again last night, I find myself with no work today. It’s a nice feeling. Thus you find me playing with my blog.
I felt like something different, spice up this blog a little. It helps keep me coming back *smiles*
I was able to dig through my old laptop hard disk a few weeks ago, and found some absolutely classic stuff I had forgotten about, but brought back so many good memories. Tony putting on mascara. Moo crawling around the floor in his little jumpsuit, before he could walk. Jenny and Adam. Some incredibly beautiful written poetry. Old photos back at the council. Ash and Michael. Eric and Tamara. Moo kissing Lee. Random, but very thoughtful messages from Luce. Thuy’s farewell party. Phuong and Lee laughing on Collins St, the night before I flew to Amsterdam. Kad’s first farewell party, when she flew to Hong Kong. Phuong’s 21st birthday. And more. Much more. Significantly more. Lots of stuff that had so much sentimental value to me. Goodness. I've already backed it up, just in case.
Good memories. Really good memories. I’m glad I saw them again. But it makes me wonder what I lost when the home PC died last year. Sigh. So much lost. So, so, so, so much lost. Oh well. At least I have these.
Just to revert back to the previous paragraph - Happy Birthday Phuongy! I’ve known you for so long now, and we’ve had so many good times together. I will never forget that Sydney trip, or my trips to Canberra when I was back at Transit, or even our first exam day in VCE – English exam. Well, that wasn’t a good time, but we’ve been through so much together. And I’m so glad we’re still friends, because you’re such a beautiful person. I hope you’re having a great day up in Canberra, because I'm thinking of you down here. See? xox
