It's Friday afternoon and I'm exhausted, again. I feel like I could go home and just.. sleep. That would be nice.
I'm absolutely itching to spend money right now, money I can't spend. I want to upgrade my camera lens. I'm sick of this one. I don't like the pictures I'm getting. It's.. grainy. It's noisy. I want to move to the 24-104mm lens. Nhan is actually thinking of getting himself the 24-70mm, but seeing as that's an extra $500, eeek!
The cheapest I've found for the lens is $1,500. Gosh, I could buy a dining table with that money, really. I could buy an air conditioning unit for that price. I want to buy it in time for Kenna's engagement, but I'm not sure if I'll have the $$ for it by then. It's an odd feeling, this one. This budgeting thing. Well, technically, I've been on a budget for the past two years, but I'm actually really feeling it at the moment.
Not sure if it's the perception of feeling poor, or what. So much to save and spend on. Japan is coming up, and I definitely want my lens by then. I guess worst case scenario is I borrow Nhan's lens - if he's bought his by then. I don't want to travel on my crappy one right now. It will frustrate me, muchly muchly.
So much to spend on, so much to pay off first. Sigh.
