It's Friday, and I'm absolutely thrilled. Just because it's the end of the working week, and I will be out of the office in one hour. Phew. I'm off to see Jess McAvoy's album launch tonight with Luce, and I think David and Andrew. It shall be fun indeed. I forgot to bring my camera though. In my mad scramble when I came home last night to pack my things, I forgot to shove my camera into my bag. Oh well.
It's been extremely quiet on my end the past few weeks. I have resorted back to my natural anti-social behaviour, crawling back into my shell, and becoming a hermit once again. The weather has been miserable, and I can not find a strong enough argument to leave the warm confines of home when rugged up to go into the cold, cold dark.
I've been quite uninspired to write, actually, lately. There doesn't seem to be any great news to report, any quirky stories to tell, or even any good cheer to spread. Things have been mundane, and I suppose, to be quite honest, I wouldn't want it any other way. I suppose I need the quiet time, but I can already feel I'm itching to head out soon.
I've been quite unproductive at work this afternoon. I blame it on the chicken pargmagiana I had for lunch. It was, apparently, voted the best place to have chicken parmagiana, at the Palmerstone Hotel in South Melbourne. It was actually a fantastic meal. I'm still full.
I start indoor soccer on Monday evening. It's a shame soccer is on the same night as hip-hop dancing, because I actually had a lot of fun prancing away to Chris Brown's Run It. Not that I can really move, but you know.. Prancing. So now I'll be running around like a headless with the perception of knowing what I'm doing. Our team is, apparently, called the Bleeding Hearts. Yes. Please feel sorry for us so we can win! Go Bleeding Hearts! Wish us luck!
But before then, I have to get a pair of shinguards this weekend, before I can play. That's about all the news from my end. For now, I gotta go and finish up some odd bits here and there from my desk. I have to be at a client 6:30am Monday morning. Although I'm dreading it, I know the time will fly, so it'll all be good!
Until my next post, which hopefully will have more exciting and useful information, socialise for me!
