I packed up my desk today at Brooklyn. It was actually quite sad seeing my empty cubicle, all my stuff gone. I'm now a hot desk. All my stuff packed into two boxes, shipped up to Sydney. It was sad throwing out five reams of paper of all the projects I worked on: Caltex, ghd, GSK, LG, Samsung, Dell, Coles Express, BP, Mitsubishi, Chemist Warehouse, Nutricia, Fujitsu, Espirit. The past two years of my life, seriously. The list goes on. I've kept the documents and proposals that I put all my heart into, so at least I have that.
Reality sunk in yet? I'm not sure. Maybe it will sink in tomorrow at the Christmas party. Saying my farewells to all the colleagues in the office. Sad to know I won't see them for a long time. It was so good to see the BD team though in the office. I had missed them.
