This is the first time in a very long time where I feel like I'm sitting at my desk, twiddling my thumbs, looking for work. It feels... odd not being busy at work. Add to that, all the managers are either interstate or at management meetings, so it feels.. empty in the office.
I'm not sure what to do, to be honest. I suppose I could start reading a RFP document sitting on my desk. I've read it twice already, and it's not very well written. I should try reading it a third time. There are a lot of words, but no real content. It's a frustrating document. How the hell do you create a solution when the document contains.. no relevance? It's due next week, but we still haven't had a kick off meeting yet. Hmm.. I think that just means later this week, I'll be frantically busy, but right now, at this moment, I don't have much to do. So.. This is how the other engineers feel. Ok ok, I jest.
I was just on facebook earlier, and was looking through some of the albums Winnii and KK had, and my oh my, it brought back memories! Hong Kong! Wow. That felt so long ago. Makes me itch to go somewhere now.
