OH! I remember what I wanted to write about!
My future manager - Stuart - was admitted to hospital while working over in Singapore yesterday. As I write this, he's still lying in a Singapore bed, waiting for an MRI scan. Craig told me yesterday it appears he's had a stroke.
Maybe the heat and humidity got to him? Thankfully, when it happened, he was with our team in Singapore, so they were able to act immediately and call for help. His girlfriend is flying to Singapore to be with him. Hopefully he'll be ok. Hopefully its not serious. Matt (the person he was with) is flying back to Melbourne tonight, so I'm not sure when Stuart is flying back.
At least now I know that if anything should happen to me while overseas, work will do whatever it takes to get me better, and get me home safely. Just another example of how good this company is to work for.
